Introduction

Rice remains one of the top staple food crops in the Indian sub-continent. The production of rice was 96.43 million tons for the period 2007-2008. This high quantum production in rice has generated an increasing demand for tech-rich range of rice rubber rolls and allied accessories.

Earlier, to de-husk and process rice grains from paddy, stone or iron hullers were used which turned out to be highly disadvantageous as they broke about 50% of rice that passed through them. It was then that the Indian government noticed this as an economic loss to the country and discouraged the use of hullers. As such, Rubber rolls finally rolled in to prove their mettle in the rice milling.

One such step towards preventing loss of rice in milling was taken by HINDUSTAN Group of Industries. Incepted in 1980, we are a reckoned entity, known for our diligent commitment to fulfill all our obligations towards the clients. Part of the prestigious Group, we are a reputed manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of Rice Rubber Rolls, Rice Polishing Silicon Carbide Wheels, Chemicals, Rice Milling Machine Parts, etc. used in rice mill plants. Our entire manufacturing setup is highly advanced, requiring minimal human effort. We have a set of sophisticated machines including MIG welding machines that help us in manufacturing products of the highest calibre.

Our workforce works in complete tandem with the requirements of the clients, incorporating all the latest changes taking place in the relevance of our discipline. They are highly experienced and qualified, and are capable of meeting the daily production deadlines in the most cost effective manner.

We specialize in making a superlative range of rice rubber rolls using quality raw materials like Nitrile Rubber (of make Bayer from Germany), Silica (of make Degussa from Germany), P.F. Resin, etc. In order to source premium quality P.F. Resin, we have installed a separate manufacturing unit by the name of Bimel Resins (P) Ltd. in Ghaziabad. All these raw materials contribute effectively to the manufacturing of premium quality rice rubber rolls.

Our group stepped up on backward integration, with setting up a plant to manufacture Phenol Formaldehyde Resin used in Rice Rubber Rolls at Ghaziabad in the name of M/s Bimel Resins (P) Ltd. In other words, P.F.Resin is the back bone of Rice Rubber Rolls, as it is the binder between Rubber and other Chemicals. Most important Chemical & Physical properties of the Rolls depend on the P.F.Resin. The function of P.F.Resin is basically to make the product heat resistant and that is why they are used in brake lining, brake shoe in automobile industry, where temperature rises as high as 250 C. Hence the P.F.Resin is best suited in Rice Rubber Rolls, where the temperature of the Rolls increases upto 115 C at times.

We have a high tech production line situated at the outskirts of Delhi, in Ghaziabad, with Stainless Steel Reactors, Air Classifying Mill for Pulverizing Resin, supported by well equipped Laboratory.

Apart from it, the shelf life of P.F.Resin is not more than 30 to 40 days Therefore, giving us an upper edge from other manufacturers, as we procure P.F.Resin from our sister concern as and when required. Whereas, other manufacturers have to hold its stocks for a while, which is not good for the consistency of the Rolls quality.

We have been manufacturing Paddy Dehusking Rolls since 30 years and hence are attached with the Rice Industry of India since then. Putting forward one step ahead to serve this Industry, we have established a new State-of-the-Art unit for manufacturing Rice Whitening Wheels at Sonepat, Haryana.

We have the most advanced machinery, specially imported for the purpose, along with the latest technology of the same. We have the capacity to make all sizes of Abrasives Wheels from 100 mm to 600 mm diameter. And currently, we are already producing Rice Whitening Wheels from 250 mm diameter wheels (Milltec type) to 508 mm diameter wheels (Satake – VTA 15 type) in all grits with Black and Green Silicon Carbide.

We have imported special Conical Shaped Silicon Carbide from Norway, which is best for the Whitening Rice, as compared to round shaped Silicon Carbide, being used by other manufacturers, which only serves to give life and not a good Polish.

Apart from the machinery and the Silicon Carbide, we also specialize in manufacturing only the Rice Polishing Wheels, as the firing cycle in the KILN is specially designed for Rice Polishing Wheels only, giving us an upper edge above the other manufacturers.

Shortly, we will be introducing Jet Polisher emery Rollers used in various Chinese type machines (TS25, SM18 and NF15), and emery Rollers used in Kanpur model machines. For the same, we have just imported the most advanced machine (CNC lathe) for its Worm (Spiral) cutting.

Apart from Rice Polishing Wheels, we have also started our production lines to manufacture other abrasive wheels, segments and other abrasive items used in various industries.

We are currently manufacturing wheels upto 20” diameter for bearing industry and are shortly adding Resinoid abrasives for various industries.
